At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ellie Milburn, who went 1-for-4 with one home run. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Egger, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Northwest made easy work of Standing Bear on Thursday and carried off a 9-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won 17 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Laiken Dorsey was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Becca Dinkelman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one RBI.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Ashland-Greenwood hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1.1 home runs per game. However, it's not like Northwest struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.2 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down. Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
