Archbishop Riordan won the last time they faced Saint Francis and things went their way on Friday too. The Archbishop Riordan Crusaders took down the Saint Francis Lancers 65-51. The win was familiar territory for the Crusaders who have now won three games in a row.

Archbishop Riordan's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trenia Dunbar, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Ariah Thompson, who scored 14 points.

Archbishop Riordan's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Saint Francis, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Archbishop Riordan will venture away from home to challenge Archbishop Mitty at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Archbishop Mitty is on a six-game streak of home wins, Archbishop Riordan a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Saint Francis, they will square off against St. Ignatius College Preparatory at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
