When it comes to explaining why Houlka lost, one person who can't be blamed is Nehemiah Flemmings. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Foster, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Pine Grove is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Houlka, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Pine Grove will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Myrtle at 7:30 p.m. Houlka will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Okolona at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th. Okolona has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 187 points over their last three matchups.
