Monroe entered their tilt with Forest Hills on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Yellow Jackets 5-1. Even though Monroe got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Bayron Sarino was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Monroe hit Forest Hills with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jesus Quizapa-Sanchez (2), Yoseht Lopez (2), and Alberto Maldonado.

Monroe's victory bumped their record up to 9-5-4. As for Forest Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Monroe will head out to take on Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Forest Hills, they will venture away from home to challenge Parkwood at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
