Having just played yesterday, the Central Dauphin East Panthers will get right back to it and host the Carlisle Thundering Herd at 4:00 p.m. on February 10th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Friday, Central Dauphin East took a serious blow against Susquehanna Township, falling 53-21. While losing is never fun, Central Dauphin East can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 381st, while Susquehanna Township is ranked 57th).
Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 20-20 at halftime, Carlisle was not quite Cumberland Valley's equal in the second half on Thursday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 38-37 to the Eagles.
Central Dauphin East's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Carlisle, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.
