Monrovia is 0-10 against Temple City since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Monrovia Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Temple City Rams at 5:30 p.m. Monrovia comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
Monrovia suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They took a serious blow against South Pasadena, falling 121-10. Monrovia was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 83-7.
Meanwhile, Temple City strolled past San Marino with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 49-35. The win was just what Temple City needed coming off of a 81-39 loss in their prior contest.
Monrovia has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Temple City, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
Monrovia came up short against Temple City in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 57-45. Can Monrovia avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
