It was fun while it lasted, but Union's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Monday. They lost to the Central Wise Warriors on the road by a 68-49 margin. The loss was the Bears' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Union fell to 4-1. As for Central Wise, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Union will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Honaker at 8:00 p.m. on January 15, 2025. Central Wise also won't see the court for a while: their next matchup is against John Battle at 8:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
