After having lost a blowout in their previous game against California City, Boron was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over the Desert Scorpions. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won five games by six runs or more so far this season.

Boron pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Desert, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.
