The Northeast Eagles will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against the Dulaney Lions at 5:15 p.m. on December 27th. Northeast has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 459 points over their last six games.
Northeast pushed their score all the way to 58 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Meade by a score of 61-58. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Northeast has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Dulaney entered their tilt with Western Tech & Environmental Science with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Dulaney snuck past Western Tech & Environmental Science with a 43-38 victory on Wednesday. Given Dulaney's advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while Western Tech & Environmental Science is ranked 246th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 5-1. As for Dulaney, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
