Foothill Tech never let St. Monica get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.

The result came thanks to Connor Nelles's shutout, as he gave up just four hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Robert Juker, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. Those doubles marked the first that he hit this season. Another player making a difference was Aiden Gomez, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last game, San Marino made sure to put some runs up on the board against California on Monday. San Marino blew past California 10-3. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.
JJ Wilson was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Wilson was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple.
In other pitching news, Nate Kar looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.
Back at the plate, Parker Wilson was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Chase Mena was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Foothill Tech's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for San Marino, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
