Abington entered their tilt with Plymouth Whitemarsh on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials by a score of 43-35. That's more bragging rights for the Galloping Ghosts, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Plymouth Whitemarsh lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Eliza Meersman, who posted seven points in addition to nine boards and three steals. Meersman is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Aj Avery, who had eight points.

Abington's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-1.

Abington will head out to challenge Upper Moreland at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th. Plymouth Whitemarsh has already played their next contest, a 33-27 loss against West Catholic on the 5th.
