The Mt. Pleasant Cardinals scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Tuesday. They really took it to Gunderson for the full four quarters, racking up a  58-18 victory at home. The  victory was some much needed relief for Mt. Pleasant as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
 It was another big night for  Snowe DeLeon, who  scored 32 points. Those 32 points set a new season-high mark for her.  Destinee  Townes was another key contributor,  scoring eight points.
 Mt. Pleasant's victory bumped their record up to 2-11. As for Gunderson, their defeat  ended a three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 4-4.
 Mt. Pleasant will head out on the road to face off against Yerba Buena at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Yerba Buena comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 19 points in their last four games, a trend the  squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Gunderson, they will be playing at home against Overfelt at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Overfelt is hoping to put an end to  a seven-game streak of away losses.
