The Gallup Bengals will take on the West Las Vegas Dons at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Gallup's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over Miyamura.

Morgan Belone was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. Belone was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2025.
In other batting news, Gallup let Leia Tso and Crystal Maruffo run wild. Tso got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Maruffo went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. What's more, Tso posted two hits, the most she's had since back in May of 2025. Madison Martinez was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.
Gallup always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .758. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Miyamura only posted an OBP of .062.
Meanwhile, West Las Vegas' rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Saturday. Everything went their way against Raton as they made off with a 10-0 victory.
Malie Satete made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.
In other batting news, Bryanna Montoya was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Sarah Salazar, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
West Las Vegas' win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.2 runs on average over those games. As for Gallup, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
