The Vacaville Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a 64-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Antioch. Vacaville was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Antioch apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2015.
Vacaville's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maggie Lopez, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Teagan Roser, who scored 12 points.
Vacaville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Antioch, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Vacaville won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against American Canyon at 6:30 p.m. on December 1st. Antioch will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Rancho Cotate at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th.
