Greenway hadn't done well against Paradise Honors recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Thursday. The Greenway Demons narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  team sidled past the Paradise Honors Panthers  44-41. The  win was familiar territory for the Demons who have now won four  matchups in a row.
 Despite the loss, Paradise Honors still got an impressive performance from   David Leszczynski, who  went 8 for 16  en route to 20 points and four  steals. That's the most  steals  Leszczynski has posted since back in November of 2024.  Dillan McClinton was another key player,  putting up eight  points in addition to seven  rebounds and four  steals.
Greenway pushed their record up to 12-6 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. As for Paradise Honors, their loss  ended  a  six-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 13-5.
 Greenway didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  48-40  win against Goldwater on the 28th. Paradise Honors has also  already played their next game,  a  52-44  victory against Shadow Mountain on the 28th.
