Faribault have had to suffer through a 3-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took their matchup against Austin last Friday by a conclusive 48-14 score. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Faribault's flat performance the match before.
Meanwhile, if Mayo were riding high off their 40-13 takedown of Mankato East two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Mayo fell just short of Century by a score of 17-20.
Faribault took a serious blow against Mayo the last time the two teams met, falling 6-42. Can Faribault avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
