The Cameron County Raiders can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They blew past Galeton, posting a 58-12 win at home. Cameron County's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Cameron County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Elsie Bresslin out in front who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Cloe Farren was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with nine rebounds.
Despite the loss, Galeton still got an impressive performance from Lynlee Basile, who scored ten points.
Cameron County's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10. As for Galeton, their loss was their 17th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-14.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Austin the next time they take the court. Cameron County will head out to face Austin at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, while Galeton will host them at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
