The Colfax Falcons waltzed into their match on Wednesday with ten straight wins but they left with 11. They blew past Sutter 75-36 at home. Colfax has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.
Juliette James continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 14 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Laurlyn Massick was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with two steals.
Colfax pushed their record up to 18-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Sutter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colfax will face off against Twelve Bridges at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Twelve Bridges will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 735th, while Colfax is ranked 40th). As for Sutter, they will head out on the road to take on Lindhurst at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Lindhurst has now lost 18 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 17.
