Glendale Adventist's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hayden Chloe Gayares, who scored 10 points along with 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Tatiana Gonzalez, who scored 6 points.
Glendale Adventist now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Ojai Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glendale Adventist will take on Buckley at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ojai Valley will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Glendale Adventist at 4:30 p.m. on January 18, 2024.
