While losing is never fun, MMI Preparatory School can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 592nd, while Greater Nanticoke Area is ranked 293rd).
When it comes to explaining why MMI Preparatory School lost, one person who can't be blamed is Bria Kringe. Despite the final result, she scored 11 points along with three steals. That was a full 84.6% of MMI Preparatory School's points, marking the 13th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
This is the second loss in a row for MMI Preparatory School and nudges their season record down to 3-10. As for Greater Nanticoke Area, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season.
MMI Preparatory School will be playing in front of their home fans against Holy Redeemer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Holy Redeemer is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Greater Nanticoke Area, they will take on Lake-Lehman at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
