Dinuba took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Mission Oak, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Emperors came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hawks on Friday, sneaking past 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Emperors as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Dinuba's victory bumped their record up to 4-17. As for Mission Oak, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9-1.

Coming up, Dinuba will take on Hanford at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mission Oak, they will challenge Tulare Western at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight.
