Beatrice entered their tilt with Grand Island Central Catholic on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Crusaders with a sharp 13-5 win. The Orangemen might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by eight runs or more this season.

Tatum Tempelmeyer was a standout: she fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 2-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 14 matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Callie Schwisow, who went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

Beatrice was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in 11 consecutive games.

Beatrice's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Grand Island Central Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
