New Life Academy/St. Croix Prep have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Fridley at 3:00 PM. Fridley will be strutting in after a victory while New Life Academy/St. Croix Prep will be stumbling in from a loss.
Things haven't been easy for New Life Academy/St. Croix Prep, and their game two weeks ago only extended their streak of losses to six. They were completely outmatched, falling 12-55 to Minneapolis Southwest. The state rankings had actually given New Life Academy/St. Croix Prep a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Last Friday, Fridley put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. Everything came up roses for them against Washburn as the team secured a 48-13 win. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-7.
