After two games on the road, Pleasant Valley is heading back home. They will take on the Chico Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Wednesday, Pleasant Valley kept a clean sheet against Shasta. They won by a goal and slipped past Wolves 1-0. Pleasant Valley's winning goal came courtesy of Jenna Norberry.
Meanwhile, Chico came tearing into Wednesday's match with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.6 goals) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Foothill by a score of 2-0. Give Chico's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.
Pleasant Valley pushed their record up to 14-1-4 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Chico, their victory bumped their record up to 15-1.
