Frontier had to hit the road for their first game and  it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took  a  7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clovis East Timberwolves on Wednesday. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Timberwolves apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in March of 2023.
Frontier got a good showing from  Landon Nettles, who   tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit.
 At the plate,  Robert Salazar made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Cameron Clay, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI.
 Coming up, Frontier will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Redwood  at 3:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Clovis East, they are headed away from home for the first time to  square off against  El Diamante  at 3:00  p.m.  on Friday.
