Duncan had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt MacArthur on Wednesday. The Demons never let the Highlanders get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Demons, who have now won 16 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Duncan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for MacArthur, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-23-2.

MacArthur has already played their next contest, an 18-9 win against El Reno on the 8th. Hopefully Duncan paid attention to the Highlanders' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Highlanders on Thursday.
