The Frontier Titans fought the good fight in their overtime contest against the Centennial Golden Hawks on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 44-43 to the Golden Hawks. Frontier has not had much luck with Centennial recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Frontier lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Alondra Delgado, who scored four points along with 12 rebounds and six blocks. Delgado has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Alexis Tinnin, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Frontier's loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Centennial, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.
Frontier does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Centennial also has no future games currently scheduled.
