The Sylmar Spartans waltzed into Friday's game with two straight wins but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat South Gate 58-8 on the road. With that win, Sylmar brought their scoring average up to 50.3 points per game.
Among those leading the charge was Vivianna Alvarado, who scored 18 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Sylmar's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Cordova, who scored 11 points.
Sylmar's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for South Gate, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sylmar will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Reseda at 4:30 p.m. on December 6th. As for South Gate, they will face off against Legacy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
