Bernstein extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping them up to 6-2. They put the hurt on the Contreras Cobras with a sharp 44-22 win. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 22 points or more this season.

As for Contreras, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-4. The loss continues a trend for them in their meetings with Bernstein: they've now lost five in a row.

Although Contreras took the loss, they still got scores from Randy Jones, Albeiro Hernandez, and Alex Vasquez.

Bernstein wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 28-20 victory against Roybal on the 24th. As for Contreras, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 55-17 win against Mendez on the 24th.
