North Valley Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kalina Santor, who scored 17 points along with four steals. Santor has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 20 times she's played. Triniti Terracciano was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
It was another big night for Lailani Hall, who scored 23 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds for Chandler Prep. Another player making a difference was Jane Quinlivan, who scored nine points.
North Valley Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Chandler Prep, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-11.
North Valley Christian Academy will be playing at home against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Anthem Prep is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Chandler Prep, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th. Horizon Honors' defense has only allowed 28.8 points per game this season, so the Titans' offense will have their work cut out for them.
