While South Winneshiek put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Central. South Winneshiek put the hurt on Central with a sharp 11-0 win. South Winneshiek might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by eight runs or more this season.

South Winneshiek has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Central, their loss was their 23rd straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-18.

South Winneshiek didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-1 win against Riceville on the 24th. As for Central, they will venture away from home to take on Postville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
