Monsignor Farrell won the last time they faced St. Peter and Kevin Gumb Jr did his part to make sure it happened again. The Lions blew past the Eagles 48-13 on Friday thanks in part to Gumb Jr, who rushed for 186 yards and three TDs on only 11 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 63 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Although St. Peter's took the loss, they still got scores from Nicholas Gnerre and Benjamin Terry.

Monsignor Farrell's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for St. Peter's, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Monsignor Farrell wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 21-20 victory against St. Anthony's on the 26th. As for St. Peter's, they will challenge Chaminade at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
