 Hesperia now  has a winning record of 9-8. As for Serrano, their loss was  their fifth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 6-9-1.
 Hesperia will have a chance to go back-to-back against Serrano: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 3:15  p.m.  on Friday.
