South Allegheny's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabi Jackson, who scored 20 points. Emily Beaumont was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds.
South Allegheny's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Trinity Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
South Allegheny will face off against Cheswick Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Trinity Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Neighborhood Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
