While Eagle River didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-21-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They won by a set and slipped past the Mt. Edgecumbe Braves 1-0. For the Wolves, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Braves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2019.

Eagle River has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Mt. Edgecumbe, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Eagle River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Bethel on the 5th. As for Mt. Edgecumbe, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Barrow on the 5th.
