It was a good run, but the Grant Pacers unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to Davis Sr. 54-48. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Grant in their matchups with Davis Sr.: they've now lost nine in a row.
It was another big night for Tessa Schouten, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds for Davis Sr. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Schouten has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jiana Trotman, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds.
Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Davis Sr., they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season.
Grant will be playing at home against Laguna Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Davis Sr., they will head out on the road to take on Cosumnes Oaks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Cosumnes Oaks focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Friday.
