The Bay School Breakers will venture away from home to challenge the Lick-Wilmerding Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, everything went The Bay School's way against Technology as The Bay School made off with a 19-2 win. The Breakers haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Jasper Cook and Nate Won made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Cook struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Won tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March of 2024. At bat, Cook went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one double, while Won scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance gave Cook a new career-high in hits.

In other batting news, Alec Rabb and Nick Patarroyo did most of the damage at the plate: Rabb scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Patarroyo scored four runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave Rabb a new career-high in RBI (three). Terje Steele was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and one run.
The Bay School always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .644. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Technology only posted an OBP of .318.
Meanwhile, Lick-Wilmerding put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Burton with a sharp 19-12 win.
Lick-Wilmerding let Aidan Baird and Marley Hammons run wild. Baird went 3-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Hammons went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Benji Cho, who scored four runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances.
The Bay School's record is now 2-0. As for Lick-Wilmerding, their record now sits at 3-0.
The Bay School took their victory against Lick-Wilmerding in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1. Does The Bay School have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lick-Wilmerding turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
