For Calvary Baptist, this counts as revenge for the 46-16 loss MAST Community Charter walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2017.
MAST Community Charter lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Rylie Fitzsimmons, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tierney Hamilton, who scored ten points along with five assists and two steals.
Calvary Baptist now has a winning record of 3-2. As for MAST Community Charter, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvary Baptist will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Calvary Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for MAST Community Charter, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Morrisville at 6:00 p.m.
