The Borrego Springs Rams are on the road again on Tuesday and plays the San Diego Academy Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th. Hopefully Borrego Springs focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 36 on Friday.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Borrego Springs, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 33-18 loss to West Shores. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Borrego Springs in their matchups with West Shores: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite their loss, Borrego Springs saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Dulce Morales, who scored seven points along with five rebounds, was perhaps the best of all.
Meanwhile, San Diego Academy came up short against Gompers Prep Academy on Tuesday and fell 40-30.
Borrego Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for San Diego Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.
