As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mills has scored all season. Eva Penning was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Blair County Christian came up short against Johnstown Christian on Monday and fell 45-32. While losing is never fun, Blair County Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 500th, while Johnstown Christian is ranked 245th).
Blair County Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Lydia Hileman, who scored six points along with 13 rebounds and five blocks, and Calee Kennedy who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and four steals. Kennedy has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played.
Calvary Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Blair County Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Calvary Christian Academy have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 32.5 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Blair County Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.1 rebounds per game.
