Yosemite can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They strolled past Liberty with points to spare, taking the game 34-20.
Yosemite's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jadyn Johnson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Johnson is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Taylor Bullock, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Fresno Christian suffered their biggest defeat since December 2, 2023 on Tuesday. They were the victim of a tough 55-29 defeat at the hands of Parlier. Fresno Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Yosemite's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Fresno Christian, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-15.
Yosemite was taken down by Fresno Christian 48-21 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Thankfully for Yosemite, Tori Tarlton (who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
