The O'Fallon Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Althoff Catholic Crusaders at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. O'Fallon will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
O'Fallon came out on top against Howell North on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fifth inning. The Panthers were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over the Knights.

Landon Dippel looked comfortable as he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, O'Fallon got a massive performance out of Brayden Robertson, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Liam Decker, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and one double.
Meanwhile, Althoff Catholic posted their closest victory since May 7, 2025 on Thursday. They skirted past Marquette Catholic 9-8. With that win, the Crusaders brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.
Althoff Catholic let Robbie Smith and Tyler Pollock run wild. Smith went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Pollock got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Althoff Catholic is 3-1 when Smith posts two or more runs, but 0-10 otherwise. Aden Quinn was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
O'Fallon's record now sits at 10-4. As for Althoff Catholic, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-11.
O'Fallon beat Althoff Catholic 5-0 when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Crusaders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
