The More Knights will venture away from home to face off against the Lynbrook Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
On Tuesday, More made easy work of North Valley Baptist and carried off a 15-3 victory. Considering the Knights have won six contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jason Schaper and Vinny Selway made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Schaper pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Selway struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). More is 2-1 when Selway allows one or fewer hits, but 4-5 otherwise. At the plate, Schaper went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run, while Selway went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Selway has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
Lynbrook not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 20, 2025 (when they won 16-1). They blew past Saratoga 11-1. With that win, the Vikings brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.
The team relied heavily on Ofir Kesar, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Kyle Fong also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
The victory made it two in a row for More and bumps their season record up to 6-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.5 runs over those games. As for Lynbrook, their record now sits at 4-8.
Lynbrook's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: More has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .452. It's a different story for Lynbrook, though, as they've only averaged .345. Will they be able to contain More's hitters?
More beat Lynbrook 5-2 in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
