The Chowchilla Tribe waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They came out on top against Parlier by a score of 51-40. This was payback for Chowchilla, who suffered a 47-18 loss the last time these two teams met.
Chowchilla's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nour Escheik, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. Escheik has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last nine times she's played. Shalaya Moore was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds.
Chowchilla pushed their record up to 11-9 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Parlier, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Riverdale the next time they take the court. Chowchilla will head out to face the Cowboys at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
