Tulare Western has been on the road for 15 straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Hanford Bullpups at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Friday, Tulare Western came up short against Dinuba and fell 48-41. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tulare Western in their matchups with Dinuba: they've now lost six in a row.
Meanwhile, Hanford earned a 38-26 win over Tulare Union on Friday. That's two games straight that Hanford has won by exactly 12 points.
It was another big night for Kenyah Stubbs, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and six steals. That makes it 17 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Hanford's points. Jaaylah Capers was another key contributor, scoring three points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Tulare Western's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 11-7. As for Hanford, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-10.
Tulare Western ended up a good deal behind Hanford in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, losing 47-33. Can Tulare Western avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
