Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chopticon). They came out on top against the Leonardtown Raiders by a score of 100-93 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Braves: when they faced off against the Raiders back in December of 2024, they had to take a 67-45 defeat.

The win got Chopticon back to even at 4-4. As for Leonardtown, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-3.

Chopticon will look to defend their home court on Monday against Patuxent at 4:30 p.m. Chopticon is facing Patuxent at the right time seeing as Patuxent is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Leonardtown, they will head out to challenge Suitland at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
