Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Greta Dwyer, who scored nine points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sienna Manns, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Carlisle's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-1. As for Cumberland Valley, they bumped their record down to 0-5 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
Carlisle lost to Cumberland Valley at home by a decisive 52-37 margin in their previous meeting back in January. Can Carlisle avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
