Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Righetti

While Righetti didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Grace Lancers on Monday. The win was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Righetti got a great performance from Nathan Lancor as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over 5.1 innings pitched.

At the plate, Mason Anderson was excellent, scoring two runs while going 4-for-5. Those four hits gave him a new career-high.

Righetti kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Righetti's record is now 8-5. As for Grace, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-4-2.

Coming up, Righetti will face off against Cabrillo at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Conquistadores have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Grace, they will square off against Foothill Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
