The Miramonte Matadors are taking a road trip to square off against the Concord Bears at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Miramonte is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
Miramonte came out on top against Berean Christian on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fourth inning. The Matadors never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Matadors.
Alex Heath tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
