Proctor have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They take on Hermantown at 7:00 PM. Hermantown will be strutting in after a win while Proctor will be stumbling in from a defeat.
We expected Proctor to have trouble with the significantly higher ranked Cloquet last Friday, and they did. Proctor have to be aching after a bruising 7-41 loss to Cloquet. Proctor's loss continues a disappointing trend for the team, making it five losses in a row.
Meanwhile, if there were any doubts about the heavy odds in favor of Hermantown coming into their contest against Hibbing last Friday, the squad laid those doubts to rest. Hermantown made easy work of Hibbing and carried off a 39-8 victory. The victory was familiar territory for Hermantown, who now have six in a row.
Proctor's defeat took them down to 1-5 while Hermantown's victory pulled them up to 6-0. Proctor's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Hermantown defensive front that amassed five sacks against Hibbing, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
